Exploring Hidden Reefs with Blue Whale Lipe On Tour

My snorkeling trip with Blue Whale Lipe On Tour took me to pristine reefs and jungle-fringed islands, revealing the beauty of Koh Lipe.

The snorkeling trip I took with Blue Whale Lipe On Tour was one of the most peaceful and beautiful adventures I’ve had on Koh Lipe. I opted for the morning tour, which turned out to be a perfect choice since there were fewer people, giving the whole experience a calm and unhurried vibe.

We set off in a stunning traditional longtail boat, and our guide led us to some of the most breathtaking snorkeling spots and islands I’ve ever seen.

Our first stop was a reef that seemed to rise out of the open sea. Away from the bustling shoreline reefs, this hidden gem was teeming with marine life. Fish of all sizes darted around the coral, and it was incredible to swim above this underwater haven that felt so untouched and serene. Because of the depth of the reefs at this site, I free dived to get a closer look while honing my freediving skills. Staying down longer, going deeper. This type of snorkeling makes it into a true watersport!

The next stop was unlike anything I’d experienced before—an island made entirely of smooth black rocks: Ko Hin Nyam. The beach looked like a natural hot stone spa, and the reef here was a vast carpet of soft coral stretching in every direction. I spent some time soaking up the warmth of the rocks, feeling completely relaxed before heading back into the water. The rocks are so gorgeous that is temping to take one as a souvenir, but this will bring bad-fortune over you and your family, so left the stones so shine in their natural habitat.

Our final destination was Koh Adang, a large island covered in dense jungle. Between its rocky cliffs were narrow, golden beaches that seemed straight out of a dream. The beaches, only a few meters wide, were bordered by thick jungle, making this island a true wildlife sanctuary. It felt like a paradise untouched by human hands, a place where nature thrives on its own terms.

The variety of landscapes and underwater ecosystems we explored during this trip left me in awe. I’ve snorkeled in a few places before, but nothing compared to this experience. The reefs, the islands, and the peaceful pace of the tour all came together to create an unforgettable adventure.

If you’re visiting Koh Lipe, often called the Maldives of Thailand, DS Adventure Travels recommends a snorkeling trip Koh Lipe with Blue Whale Lipe On Tours. Swimming above colourful coral reefs filled with sealife and cruising through rocky jungle islands is an amazing adventure travel adventure!
